LINGERIE STORYBOARD
A storyboard for a lingerie set we had to sew as a school project.
LINGERIE FINAL GARMENT
The final lingerie garment that we made in our second year. This is just a simple unpadded bra with lace detail and normal bikini bottoms.
SWIMSUIT STORYBOARD
This is a storyboard for our second year swimsuit we had to design.
SWIMSUIT FINAL GARMENT
The final swimsuit garment. We had to draw up our own swimsuit pattern and construct it ourselves.
MENSWEAR STORYBOARD
The storyboard for our menswear. We had to research multiple men's fashion across the globe and design our own menswear.
MENSWEAR FINAL GARMENT
The final menswear garment consists of a button-up shirt and jeans. We had to make our own pattern and construct the jeans as well as the shirt.
FASHION ADVERT
In this project, we had to design a fashion advert for a boutique or studio. I chose Klerksdorp based studio Anel Botha Couture.
SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENTATION
We were grouped into groups of four to do a presentation on the evolution of a social media brand. My group and I were given the famous social media app, Facebook.
FASHION HISTORY ASSIGNMENT
In our second year fashion history assignment, we are tasked do to research and compile a presentation on a global fashion brand. I was given Vivienne Westwood.
LITTLE VOGUE DRESS CONCEPT PRESENTATION
The concept presentation for our Little Vogue Dress. We had to research several iconic celebrities and public figures that had an impact of modern day fashion as well as popular dress styles.
LITTLE VOGUE DRESS STORYBOARD
The storyboard for a dress we had to make. The challenge was that you had to choose a fabric technique and use it to make your own fabric. You then had to use the fabric that you made to make your own dress. I used a normal plain weave to create my dress.

The final garment for my Little Vogue Dress. The dress is named after the theme for our end-of-the-year fashion which was "Vogue".
ADVERTISING FASHION SHOW STORYBOARD
The storyboard for our annual Advertising Fashion Show. We are challenged to create a garment out of advertising material.

My Advertising Fashion Show garment. This year I was challenged to make a dress out of newspaper clippings for our local newspaper, The Klerksdorp Record.
PLATINUM FASHION FESTIVAL COLLECTION CONCEPT PRESENTATION
In our second year, we had to make four couture garments for our annual fashion. Before we design our garments we had to do extensive research on our theme, Â which was "Vogue", as well as research on popular dress styles and silhouettes. We also had to reveal our collection name. My collection name was "The Summer of Vogue".
